- Orthorectification
Orthorectification is a process of increasing the accuracy of satellite imagery by removing the effects of image perspective (tilt) and relief (terrain). This creates a more true reflection of the image allowing measurement of distances, angles and areas.
- Contour Generation
Using a digital terrain model contours can be created from high resolution stereo satellite imagery.
- Mosaiced Imagery
Mosaiced imagery is the process where multiple images are tiled together to create one simplified image.
- Vector & Raster conversion and compression
Images can be compressed and converted to most suitable formats using state of the art technologies such as ECW.
- Ground Control Points
The accuracy of satellite imagery can be further improved with ground control points (GCP). This can increase the accuracy of the data up to 1 meter. Refer to a consultant for more information regarding ground control points.
